Many of the earlier lock products are starting to fail and of course the general public are often led to believe that the only option is to replace the existing door for a new modern door, at a cost of several hundred pounds.
Key Door Solutions has spent significant time and training in being able to offer repairs to existing locks, replacement locks, or upgraded locks to old / existing doors. There are also many security upgrades available and all of these can be carried out to most existing doors at a much lower cost than purchasing a new door.
In addition, due to the current financial market, many manufacturers of locks and hardware products are either going into liquidation, or being bought out by rival manufacturers, often resulting in someone finding out that a door they purchased only 5 or 6 years ago has locks and hardware on it that has been discontinued and sometimes any remaining liquidated stock has been used and the parts are now obsolete.
