BS3621-2007-system

It is often a condition of your insurance policy that your locks meet a required standard.

(For example, most insurance companies insist on a 5 lever mortice lock on a timber door and state that it must meet BS3621:2007). At Key Door Solutions we can work with you to ensure your policy requirements are conformed to and thereby avoid the possibility of disappointment should your insurance company refuse to honour a claim. A few pounds could save you thousands!

Insurance companies normally request the “passive door” on UPVC double opening doors should have three locking points. This usually requires two face mounted, key locking products to be fitted retrospectively as very few double glazing companies are providing them at the time of installation. Make sure you check your policy and your current locking system.
